Putting our trust in Ed
There’s a new kid on the block preparing to make a difference as a CACBG Trustee.

Ed Evans is the new kid on the block
Ed Evans recently joined our Trustee Board and is bringing a wealth of new skills and experiences.
The father-of-three is the Director of the Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA) Wales. He has more than 30 years of experience of delivering a broad range of technical services and policy.
He is looking forward to helping us continue to provide free, impartial, inclusive advice.
He said: “I have previously served as Chairman of the Board of the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority and I am currently Chairman of Keep Wales Tidy and Pedal Power, a local charity for disabled children and adults.”
Edward was born and raised in Gwynedd he has lived and worked in South East Wales and has great understanding of the challenges these communities face.
He said: “As a volunteer I get great satisfaction in being involved with and supporting causes that I have a passion for. I hope to make a positive difference to peoples’ lives through working with CACBG. However small my contribution may be.”
Mostyn Davies, Interim Chair has welcomed Ed aboard.
Mostyn said: “Ed Evans recently joined our Trustee Board and is bringing a wealth of new skills and experiences. I am sure Ed will be a valuable asset and will reap the same rewards from the role as we do. I feel that my involvement as a trustee allows me in a small way to help those who are in need of advice and assistance and to ensure that the service is available to anyone who needs it. I look forward to working with Ed to drive forward plans for the future.”
